New Website Design & Structure
Firstly, let us say Thanks! to everyone who gave us feedback on our last site design. It is because you were good enough to tell us what you wanted and needed that you are now using our new site.
We took all the advice on accessibility and we are now working on building a small library of CSS scripts to handle your needs. Added to this is our up-coming Page-As-MP3 feature which will read our content to the blind and visually impared visitors. There is a text resizing tool in the accessibility section too.
Everyone will be happy to see that we dont use tables in our design anymore. Except for containing data, just like they were intended. This is because tables can sometimes be read wrongly in screen readers and some text only browsers. We now stick completely to CSS for or design layout.
Our usual dark and indigo theme has been running since 1999 when we took our first steps in web design. It continues, 10 years on and should be continuing for a long, long time to come. This light text on a dark background is easily read by the visually impaired but it is also in contrast with most other business web sites.
